A PIERCED WHITE JADE 'DRAGON' PLAQUE
QING DYNASTY (1644-1911)
The irregularly-shaped plaque is carved and pierced with a pair of chi dragons with sinuous intertwined bodies, confronting on one side a flaming pearl and the other side a panel inscribed with the characters shuang shou in seal script. The stone is of an even translucent white tone.
