A Predynastic red pottery shallow oval dish
with white painted chevron (water) design around the sides and diagonally across the centre -- 5in. (12.7cm.) long, Naqada I, 4000-3500 B.C.; a Hellenistic terracotta figure of a woman standing with her left foot resting on a rock, the right hand on her hip and left on her thigh, wearing a chiton and himation wrapped closely around her head, triangular vent-hole in the back, restored open base -- 4¾in. (12.2cm.) high, 3rd Century B.C.; a Coptic carving on a curved rectangular section of bone, of stylized vine trails with fruit within a border, mounted -- 3¾in. (9.5cm.) long, circa 5th Century A.D.; a Roman twisted silver bracelet, each of the four twisted strands incised with a zigzag design -- 2¾in. (7cm.) diam., 2nd-3rd Century A.D.; and a miscellaneous group from various periods, mainly after the Antique
