The present example is from a rare group of similar copper-red glazed bowls either with the Kangxi or Yongzheng reign marks, such as the pair of Kangxi-marked bowls sold at Christie's New York, 13 September 2012, lot 1544. A single Yongzheng-marked bowl from the Harry Payne Bingham Collection was sold at Christie's New York, 19 September 2013, lot 1364.
