TWO DEHUA BALUSTER VASES
QING DYNASTY, 17TH/18TH CENTURY
Each vase is potted with an elongated slender body below a trumpet mouth. It is further decorated at each side of the gently sloped shoulder with a pair of moulded lion-masks, below an indentation encircling the lower neck. Each base is impressed with an apocryhal Xuande seal mark. The glaze is of ivory white tone.
