A PAINTED ENAMEL 'FRUITS AND FLOWERS' TEA POT AND STAND
QING DYNASTY, 18TH CENTURY
The globular body and S-shaped spout are enamelled in the famille rose palette with an assortment of floral sprays and fruits including peony, lily, camellia, aster, finger citron, peach and carrots. The overhead arched handle is wrapped with wicker. The flat cover is decorated with a pink flowerhead surmounted by a metal bud-finial. A candlestick holder with a separate drip pan is suspended on a three legged stand.
