A GILT-SPLASHED BRONZE CENSER AND COVER
QING DYNASTY, 18TH CENTURY
The censer is cast with a band of lotus scroll on the exterior, the base with a stylised flower beside four incised characters hong zi yi hao. The pointed cover is pierced with alternating vertical bands of leafy stems and waves. The surface is applied with gilt splashes.
