TWO INSIDE-PAINTED SNUFF BOTTLES
EARLY 20TH CENTURY
The first, carved out of cyrstal, is painted with eight horses grazing beside a river with gently rolling hills in the distance. The reverse with an inscription followed by the signature Ye Zhongsan. The second is made of glass and painted with a landscape scene with various figures in leisurely pursuits. The reverse is inscribed with the signature Leyuan.
2 7/8 in. and 3 in. (7.4 cm and 7.8 cm.) high, two tourmaline stoppers (2)
