A SMALL DING HEXAFOIL DISH
NORTHERN SONG DYNASTY (960-1127)
The dish is thinly potted with angled flaring sides rising from a flat base to the hexafoil rim mounted with a metal band, covered overall with a glaze of warm ivory-white tone, with characteristic 'tear drops' on the exterior, thinning around the rim of the base.
