The later brown onyx veneered top enclosed by a rounded red marble moulding above an alabastro fiorito-veneered leading edge, the frame with carved gilt foliage centred by a lion mask on a simulated lapis lazuli and red porphyry ground, the feet re-carved, decoration refreshed
