The detachable circular top with sixteen mahogany extension leaves, on a base carved with paterae and bellflowers, with original oak extension-leaf carrier lined in velvet, the bearers and leaves all numbered
30 in. (76 cm.) high; 102¾ in. (260.5 cm.) maximum diameter (with sixteen extension leaves); 86 in. (219 cm.) diameter (with eight extension leaves); 68 ½ in. (174 cm.) minimum diameter (with no extension leaves)
