Wilhelm Draskowitz, who came from the Berlin porcelain factory, was employed as a Dessinmaler in Vienna from 1790 until 1841.

For an example of a similar form with a solely gilded ground, see S. Tabakoff, La Porcellane di Vienna a Palazzo Pitti, Firenze, 2002, p. 202, pl. 128.
