probably from a Rasika Priya series, gouache heightened with gold on paper, under an orange awning on a terrace by a pavillion with a flowering tree behind, the blue-skinned Krishna sits against large pink cushions, wearing yellow and gold robes, while Radha kneels before him, wearing blue robes, oval gold margin, the blue spandrels painted with scrolling foliage, (negligible surface rubbing), Kangra, circa 1820-25 - 10 x 6¼in.
