Lot Essay

Poulie gouro surmontée d'un visage anthropo-zoomorphe réalisée par le Maître de Bouaflé. Sous un front bombé, la face concave se rétrécie élégamment des pommettes au menton. Les yeux obliques signifiés par de simples fentes ourlées sont caractéristiques de cet atelier. Voir Homberger et Fischer (2014, pp.32-37) pour une sélection d'oeuvres comparables du Maître de Bouaflé.
