one side with Durga, wearing a red sari, her multiple hands holding different weapons, atop the ferocious lion who is devouring the evil Mahishasura; the other with blue-skinned Kali, standing over her partner Shiva and holding a severed head, in the act of slaying an ogress standing to her left, with her red tongue enforcing her fierce demeanor
