Lot Essay

Record producer Owen Morris worked with Oasis on their first three albums, including (What's The Story) Morning Glory. When Oasis were awarded the BRIT award for Best Album on 19 February, 1996, at Earls Court in London, Morris joined the band on stage to collect the award, where Liam and Noel Gallagher performed a parody of Blur's Parklife. According to Morris, Noel generously insisted that he keep the award, as he had missed out on the award for Best Producer, and Noel knew that Oasis were going to win the award for Best Band.
