With tapering double-edged fullered blade, iron guard of flattened bars, the outer side decorated with punched and engraved flowers and fruit, later spirally fluted copper-wire-bound grip, and flattened scent-bottle-shaped pommel decorated en suite with the guard, the guard and pommel each retaining traces of a blued finish
