The three square lac burgauté wine cups lined in white metal; the cricket cage lightly incised and stained with lady and two boys, three-character mark to shoulder, wood neck, with tortoiseshell and wood carved and pierced cover; the boxwood crescent-shaped purse and cover with cord handle
The cricket cage 6½ in. (16.5 cm.) long
Provenance
The first: purchased from an antique dealer in Cannes in August 1984; the second purchased in an auction in France in November 1987; the third: purchased in an auction in Chartres in October 1979.
