The hand set impressed 'PRESS THIS WHILE SPEAKING', with control box impressed with 'LADY IN WAITING', 'DRESSER', 'PAGE', 'NIGHT PAGE', HOUSEMAID', 'PRINCE'S DRESSING ROOM', together with later plaque 'The bedside telephone of her Majesty Queen Mary 1867-1953 from Malborough House, London' , on a small presentation cushion
The handset: 10 ¼ in. (26 cm.) high

The telephone was offered previously in Mullocks, Shropshire on 7th January 2011 it is stated as being removed from Marlborough House during it's refurbishment after the death of Queen Mary in 1953, when the house was offered by Queen Elizabeth for use by the Commonwealth Secretariat.
