Cover enamelled with a four- leaf clover, each leaf enamelled with the four stages of courtship symbolised by the shoes and ankles of a couple meeting in a park:- 1) the meeting, 2) the walking out together, 3) the lying side by side and finally 4) the consumation of passion, gilt interior
