A George III teapot
of compressed moulded circular form, on ball feet and with a squat rising curved spout, detached wood scroll handle and domed hinged cover with detachable replacement finial, the body later-chased with rococo flowers, foliage and fluting and with two later C-scroll cartouches, one engraved with an initial within a garter cartouche, London 1800 - 5¾in. (14.50cm.), 18.75oz. gross.
