Hou Bo was born in Jilin and has loved painting since he was a child. A self-taught artist, he built a strong foundation for himself through studying traditional bird and flower paintings. He went on to explore the possibilities of composition, color, and painting techniques, always creating innovative and unique works. Many of Hou Bo's paintings have been exhibited and have won provincial awards.
