A CIZHOU POLYCHROMED POTTERY FIGURE OF A LUOHAN
YUAN DYNASTY (1279-1368)
The hollow figure is shown leaning on an outcropping of the rocks on which he sits. He wears layered robes of dark brown, iron red, yellow, green and cream color, and a thin wash of green glaze defines his hair. His face is set in a stern expression.
