A FAMILLE ROSE 'BAT' DISH
DAOGUANG SIX-CHARACTER SEAL MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND OF THE PERIOD (1821-1850)
The center of the interior is decorated in iron-red with five bats (wufu), their wings outstretched and arranged in a circle centering a shou character. The exterior is decorated in famille rose enamels with meandering floral scroll.
