Compare the very similar jichimu cabinet dated to the late Qing dynasty, illustrated by Tian Jiaqing, Classic Chinese Furniture of the Qing Dynasty, Hong Kong, 1995, p. 235, no. 106. A jichimu cabinet of similar form, with similar carved decoration, was sold at Christie's New York, 20-21 March 2014, lot 2299.
