A PAIR OF TRANSPARENT GARNET-RED GLASS 'LOTUS' BOWLS
LATE 18TH-EARLY 19TH CENTURY
Each has deep, rounded sides made in the shape of a lotus leaf borne on a coiled stem tied with a leaf that forms the base and foot, and carved in relief around the sides with lotus plants, millet and saggitaria.
