A WHITE JADE FIGURE OF A SEATED BIRD
18TH-19TH CENTURY
The bird is shown facing forward with legs carved under the body. There are fine feather markings on the sides of the head. Together with a small white jade carving of three rams, sanyang, one of the two small rams is shown standing on the back of another as it climbs onto a large peach on the back of the largest ram.
5¾ and 1 5/8 in. (14.5 and 4 cm.) wide, wood stands
