A SMALL GREENISH-WHITE JADE ARCHAISTIC VASE, FANGGU
LATE MING DYNASTY, 16TH-17TH CENTURY
The sides are carved with archaistic motifs including blades and taotie masks, and archaistic characters on the middle section, all divided by flanges and with openwork scroll and notched flanges at the corners. The semi-translucent stone is of even color with some opaque white mottling.
