FIRST HALF 19TH CENTURY
The sides of the box are decorated with orchids and lingzhi growing amidst blue rocks, the orchids and lingzhi repeated on the cover where they flank a green jade inset carved as a bat grasping a cash in its mouth. The turquoise enamel base is inlaid with small gilt wire clouds, and the interior is covered in green enamel.
