CIRCA 1740, REDUCED IN WIDTH AND RE-FRAMED IN THE 19TH CENTURY
The later grey brecciated marble top over a frame carved with fish-scale, flowers, acanthus leaves, satyr masks and hoof feet, formerly but not originally grain-painted to simulate oak, the show-wood now stripped back to the original paint, the reverse retaining 19th century graining
32 in. (81 cm.) high; 58 in. (147.5 cm.) wide; 29 ½ in. (75 cm.) deep
