A SET OF FOUR GEORGE IV BRONZE MEASURES FOR GRAVESEND AND MILTON
DATED 1826
Comprising, Bushel, Half-Bushel, Peck and Gallon, all engraved with the inscription 'Gravesend & Milton', a Coat-of Arms dated 1826 and numbered '223', and with its specific Imperial capacity, the Bushel engraved 'IN THE MAYORALITY OF WM. GLADDISH ESQ.R.' and 'WM. THOMAS BENNETT, CHAMBERLAIN', all with assorted verification stamps from George IV to 1957.
