IRAN, 17TH CENTURY
Comprising two tiles of near square form, the cobalt-blue ground decorated with two dancing figures holding scarves and an acrobat bending over in the lower corner, the legs of further figures above, repaired breaks and areas of restoration, mounted in a wooden frame with stand
Each tile 9¼ x 9 5/8 (23.5 x 24.4cm); frame 19½ x 10¼in. (49.6 x 26cm.)
