Arabic manuscript on paper, 303ff. plus three fly-leaves, each folio with 15ll. of black naskh, gold and polychrome verse roundels, sura headings in white naskh on gold ground with polychrome floral decoration at either end, text panel within gold rules, catchwords, gold and polychrome juz' and hizb marginal medallions, opening illuminated bifolio with text set in white cloud on gold ground, headings above and below in white naskh on gold ground, margins with gold and polychrome floral lattice separated by bands of strapwork, the colophon similarly set in an oval cartouche and similarly illuminated, signed Ibrahim al-Rushdi min talamidh al-Hajj Muhammad al-Hamdi al-Kutahi, and dated, in brown gilded moroccan with green paper doublures
