Arabic manuscript on paper, 306ff. plus two fly-leaves, each folio with 15ll. of black naskh, gold verse roundels, sura headings in white naskh on gold ground surrounded by polychrome strapwork bands, text panel surrounded by gold and polychrome rules, gold and polychrome marginal medallions, opening illuminated bifolium with text in white clouds reserved against gold pounced ground, polychrome and gold floral headpieces surrounded by strapwork bands, margins with gold chevron patterned vegetal design, colophon signed Adham Ibrahim al-Sirri min talamidh Hassan al-Wasfi and dated between golden triangles with polychrome strapwork borders, in a brown morocco with tooled and gilded geometric vegetal pattern, green paper doublures
