A LARGE PAIR OF SILVER INLAID BIDRI BRONZE VASES
CENTRAL INDIA, LATE 19TH OR EARLY 20TH CENTURY
Each with square bases rising to splayed foot, wide faceted bulbous bodies with flattened central bands, stepped shoulders and long necks with a raised collars and wide mouths, the surface with silver-inlaid decoration comprising bands of scrolling vine issuing large rosettes separated by bands of strapwork, traces of varnish on the surface
Each 25½in. (64.8cm.) high
