The ewer with drop-shaped body rising from a slightly splaying foot to a waisted neck with flat rim, the body and hinged bulbous lid inlaid with profuse floral sprays, the straight spout and serpentine handle with stylised floral buds on each side of an undulating stem ; the squat round basin on conical base, with wide sloping rim, the inlaid decoration with profuse floral sprays, the sieve with leave patterns, the ewer and basin possibly associated
The ewer 11 ¾in. (30cm.) high, the basin 16 ¼in. (41cm.) diam.
