Opaque pigments heightened with gold on paper, the couple very finely painted and seated on a throne chair, nimbed in a green halo, female musicians seated before them, attendants at either side, on a large terrace in the centre of which is a marble pavilion, a forest in the background, a lily pond in the foreground, the reverse with pencil sketch and old inventory number '167', mounted, framed and glazed
