NORTH INDIA, POSSIBLY LUCKNOW, LATE 19TH/EARLY 20TH CENTURY
Opaque pigments on paper, the female dancer and musicians entertain a lively crowd of clients in what seem to be a tavern or a game house, some identified in nasta'liq script, ladies watching from the sides, the illuminated borders with floral meander, framed
