An illustration to the Mihr o Mushtari of Assar Tabrizi, gouache heightened with gold on paper, Mihr and King Kaivan, both wearing crowns sit upon rich carpets in an interior drinking wine and eating pomegranates offered to them on a gold tray, between them a long candle, and surrounding them musicians and servants, further servants bring through gold covered platters from the lower left hand corner, a wall of the pavilion to the left from whose windows a group of figures eagerly watch, above and below two columns with 3ll. of black nasta'liq, between gold and black rules, small area of repainting, mounted, framed and glazed
