A SAFAVID TINNED-COPPER WINE BOWL
IRAN, 17TH CENTURY
On flaring foot, wit slightly rounded body and everted sloping rim, the engraved decoration with a large band of intricate lattice of palmettes and foliate motifs, a register of scrolling floriated tendril above and below, the shoulder engraved with a band of fine continuous nasta'liq script, very good condition
7 1/8in. (18cm.) high., 12in. (30.5cm.) diam.
