QAJAR IRAN, 19TH CENTURY
Of tapering form rising from a flat base, with flanged shoulder and neck, the finely engraved decoration arranged in medallions with figural scenes depicting dancers and dervishes, some figures identified as Shaykh Sa'di, Nizami (?), Shaykh San'an, the rim inscribed in naskh script 'Qalyan ...' with a date possibly of AH 1210, in very good condition
