Mould-made with well-modelled comb, wattle and beak, resting on stumpy legs, 5 5/16 in. (15 cm.) high; together with a Greek terracotta mould-made male head, his luxuriant wavy hair bound with a wide fillet surmounted by a foliate wreath, with traces of red pigment, Tarentum, circa 4th century B.C., 4 1/8 in. (10.4 cm.) high
