ATTRIBUTED TO THE RYCROFT PAINTER, CIRCA 510 B.C.
One side with central figure of Apollo Kitharoidos, wearing a chiton and himation, a deer grazing behind, to the left Artemis with hand raised, to the right the striding figure of Hermes, head turned back, wearing a chlamys and petasos and carrying a staff, vines in the field, the other side with central figure of Dionysos holding a kantharos in his left hand, his head turned back, flanked by two draped maenads, vines in the field, lotus-bud chain and rays below the scenes, scrolling palmettes with lotus buds below the handles, tongues on the shoulder, double palmettes and lotus chain on neck, details in added white and red
