AN APULIAN RED-FIGURED BELL KRATER ATTRIBUTED TO THE TRURO PAINTER, CIRCA 370-360 B.C. The obverse with a nude figure of winged Eros presenting a goose to a seated draped Aphrodite holding a fan in her right hand, obverse with two himation clad youths with the inscription 'BAGA' between them, meander and crossed square ground line, palmettes under the handles, laurel under the rim 14 in. (35.6 cm.) high
