HELLENISTIC PERIOD, CIRCA 1ST CENTURY B.C.
Rectangular in form, with a recessed panel sculpted in relief, depicting the deceased flanked by two attendants, the central draped female closely wrapped in a himation, head turned slightly to her left, the girls at her sides each wearing a long pleated chiton, that to the left with her bent right arm with her fingers to her chin, conveying mourning, that to the right holding a casket, with ten line Greek inscription beneath
