All re-covered in 1760's metal-thread and yellow silk damask 'Gros de Tours Jonquille', the fauteuils stamped L M LEFEVRE and JME, re-decorated
The canape: 40 in. (102 cm.) high; 63 in. (160 cm.) wide; 28 in. (71 cm.) deep
The fauteuil: 37 ¼ in. (95 cm.) high; 24 in. (61 cm.) wide; 24 ½ in. (62 cm.) deep

Louis-Michel Lefèvre, maître in 1749.

This exquisite canapé en corbeille and large fauteuils en suite, described by F. Grand d’Hauteville as being originally from the Billiard Room, are upholstered with original 'Tours de Jonquille'-silk removed from the drapings of the Master Bed of d'Herwarths in the Grand Salon at Hauteville, later used by both Madame de Cannac and Madame de St-Légier.
