With steel bow struck on the inside with a mark, retained by cords, fruitwood tiller veneered above and below with engraved white staghorn panels, strung with twisted cord, and with long downcurved iron trigger

The mark on the bow is similar to those listed in Der Neue Støckel (6451-2) as noted on Saxon crossbows
