A RARE GRANT OR STRATHSPEY FENCIBLES PIKE
NUMBERED '107', CIRCA 1793-99
The first with tapered point, conical socket, two side-straps and wooden haft painted 'No. 107 Strathspey' beneath the socket; together with a Highland all-steel percussion dress pistol, signed Thomson, mid-19th century, with engraved barrel, stock and signed lock; two Highland dirks, each with basket-weave carved grip, one with brass mounts and scabbard, the other with silver mounts; a black horse hair sporran; two Skean Dhu knives; a blue wool dress jacket; and a beret and a forage cap each with regimental badge
