A CASED PAIR OF AUSTRIAN PERCUSSION GALLERY TARGET PISTOLS

With octagonal signed sighted barrels of 7mm calibre each retaining some original faded blued finish, scroll engraved patent breeches, tangs and floating locks, the tangs each incorporating a key-operated adjustable rear-sight, carved figured walnut half-stocks, chequered butts, set triggers, and scroll engraved iron mounts, in close-fitted mahogany case lined with green velvet, with accessories including combined turnscrew / nipple wrench with turned ivory cap, steel mainspring clamp, and copper-mounted iron ramrods, the lid with applied cast brass escutcheon involving a crowned eagle
