The funnel bowl engraved with a scrolled rocaille cartouche with two burning chained hearts upon a pedestal, the reverse with the inscription TER ZILVERE BRUYLOFTE VAN DEN HEERE, ADRIANUS HALDER EN ME IUFFROUWE, ELISABETH VAN LEEUWEN GEVIERD BINNEN DELFD DEN 28 VAN LOÜWNAAND 1779 ('the silver wedding of Adrianus Halder and Elisabeth van Leeuwen celebrated in Delft the 28 August 1779'), on a multi-knopped balustroid stem with tear inclusions and conical foot
