Magdalena Agnieszka Sapiezyna (1739-1780), seated in red-upholstered chair, in white off-the-shoulder dress revealing her right breast, blue shawl draped across her lap, powdered upswept hair decorated with pink roses
on ivory
2 ¾ in. (70 mm.) diam., rectangular lacquered wood frame with gilt-metal spandrels

Stanislas II Augustus Poniatowski (1732-1798), King of Poland 1764-1795.
His nephew, Prince Jósef Poniatowski (1763-1813).
On his death in 1813, his sister Maria Teresa Tyszkiewicz (1761-1831).
Sold on 27 October 1821 to Antonio Fusi.
